Kelly Capra
Kelly Capra, joined BERG in 2017. At BERG, Ms. Capra is responsible for the Human Resources (HR) function of the company with a concentrated effort on building talent and culture and driving employee engagement. Ms. Capra is a seasoned HR leader with 25 years of broad experience in a number of well-known companies such as Repligen, Dassault Systèmes, Stryker Biotech, Olympus Biotech and Boston Scientific.
Prior to joining BERG, Ms. Capra served as the HR executive for Repligen, where she had global responsibility for the publicly traded bioprocessing company. In this role, she worked with the CEO and senior leadership to implement people strategies that enabled the company to grow quickly and the organization to scale; nearly doubling the size of the company in two years. At Repligen, Ms. Capra had a strong focus on talent acquisition, change management, culture building and employee engagement and drove an overall increase in employee engagement. Prior to Repligen, she was Vice President of Human Resources for the Americas at Dassault Systèmes and led an HR team to attract, retain and engage the 3,500 employees in the Americas region. Ms. Capra was also the head of HR at Olympus Biotech/Stryker Biotech, where she led HR through years of rapid growth and expansion and then also the scaling back of the business.
Ms. Capra brings a strong background in HR business partner consulting, aligning the people strategy to support and achieve the business strategy, culture building and engagement programs, and talent acquisition and development as well as HR support of mergers and acquisition, due diligence and integration. She enjoys building organizations for growth while fostering an engaging culture and a positive employee experience.
Ms. Capra holds a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science from Michigan State University.
