Robert Drake

VP, Information Technology

Robert has been with BPGbio (formerly BERG) since January 2014 and leads the company’s global information technology strategy. As Vice President of Information Technology, he oversees enterprise applications, infrastructure architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance, ensuring secure and scalable digital operations across the company’s research, clinical, and business environments.

 

Robert has built and managed the company’s digital ecosystem for the NAi™ platform, which integrates advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities to support discovery and translational research. He has designed and implemented security and infrastructure frameworks that have enabled over 65 global collaborations, including with the U.S. Department of Defense, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Sanofi, Becton-Dickinson, Oxford University, Harvard University, Stanford University, and a strategic cloud partnership with Microsoft Azure. His focus on reliability, compliance, and business continuity underpins BPGbio’s operational excellence and ability to deliver data-driven insights securely.

 

With over 25 years of experience in enterprise IT management and systems integration, Robert brings deep expertise in aligning technology strategy with organizational goals. He holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Brandeis University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
